Security in E-Banking

For Internet and Mobile Banking Security;

• Your Mobile Branch or Internet Branch password is private for you. Please do not tell, give anyone, or dial your password and the password sent to your phone by SMS and/or your card password.
• Please do not designate as password, any information which can easily be estimated, such as consecutive numbers, your birth date, your phone number, name of your relatives, name-establishment year of the team you support, etc.
• Please do not record your passwords in your mobile phone, computer or browser.
• Please do not use your Mobile Branch/Internet Branch passwords, at the websites, regarding the security of which you are not sure.
• Please write, yourself, the name of the web page you want to have access; in the address section of your browser.
• Please do not make any internet banking transaction at the environments (café, internet café, etc.) which are open for access by other persons and regarding the security of which you are not sure.
• Please do not respect the persons who introduce themselves as public prosecutor, judge, police, bank officer and who, thereby, asks your personal information, your Mobile/Internet Branch passwords or the password sent to your mobile phone by our Bank.
• Please do not open unsolicited mail or SMS messages sent to you and do not enter the links contained therein, do not download send attachments to your device.
• Please do not enter the links sent with expressions such as refunding of fee, reward, etc., which give the impression that they are sent from our Bank and which ask you to update your information.
• In case your device is stolen or lost, please contact ICBC Turkey Phone Branch at 444 00 50, urgently.
• In case SMS password sent by our Bank, is not received by you, please contact our Bank and your operator.
• Before transferring your device to another person, please do not forget to delete the Banking applications installed thereon.
• Please do not use copied and/or unlicensed software on your computer.
• Please regularly make you’re the system updates of your devices. For security of your device, it is important that you use current anti-virus and anti-spyware programs; please do not forget.
• Please check your account activities regularly. If you see a transaction which you think is not made by you, please contact ICBC Turkey Phone Branch at 444 00 50.
• At our Internet / Mobile Branch, your successful and unsuccessful entries are shown. Please check them.
• In case your communication information changes, please do not forget to contact your Branch.
