ICBC Turkey never request updating or checking your information or password via e-mail. Please kindly pay attention to the Safety Warnings on our Website and to comply with these recommendations.
By determining the frequently used IP addresses from the Security Settings >> IP Settings menu, you can prevent unauthorized access to your accounts and get protected.
In the Internet Banking login process, it is mandatory to use the User Name (Code) determined by the banks and generally it can not be changed. You can take the advantage of changing your user code/name used at ICBC Turkey Internet Branch and determine one according to your preference from Settings à Change User Name menu at any time.
Mobile is signature service is an equivalent of wet signature according to the Electronic Signature Law numbered 5020 used in GSM devices like mobile phones. With your Mobile Signature, you can perform transactions that require wet signatures electronically via your phone.
You can use Turkcell Mobile Signature and Avea Mobile Signature at our ICBC Turkey Internet Branch. You can complete your transaction by signing the message sent to your mobile phone with your Mobile Signature in Internet Branch login and money transfer transactions.
How can you get Mobile Signature?
To get your Mobile Signature, you can start the process by making your Pre-Application from the ICBC Turkey Internet Branch “Security Settings »Mobile Signature» Apply For Mobile Signature” menu. After making your pre-application, your request will be sent to Turkcell by our Bank.
If your mobile phone number in our system is incorrect, you can update it by contacting your branch.
If you are Turkcell customer:
After completing your application, you must apply personally to any of the Turkcell Extras within 30 days with your National ID Card, Driver's License or Passport. In Turkcell Extras, you need to get your new sim card SimPlus128 and complete the documents related to your application. After your application from Turkcell Extras, you will be contacted by Turkcell customer services. Your activation process will be made after the verification process and you can start using your Turkcell Mobile Signature.
How much does Mobile Signature cost?
Turkcell:
If you are using Turkcell line, you have two alternatives. If you wish, you can choose the price per use and pay 5 TL per month including VAT and SCT for Postpaid Lines and 1.25 TL per week for Pre-Paid Cards.
Avea:
If you use Avea line, unlimited usage fee is 4.85 TL per month including VAT and SCT.
How can you define your Mobile Signature?
You can use your Mobile Signature that you have bought from the ICBC Turkey Branch or you already have by defining it through Internet Branch “Security Settings »Mobile Signature» Activation/Change” menu.
From the Mobile Signature à Activation / Change step;
• Which of your mobile phone numbers in the system will you use for Mobile Signature,
• You can determine in which process you will use your Mobile Signature.
How can you use your Mobile Signature?
You will be prompted to sign with Mobile Signature on the screen that appears after typing your username and password in the ICBC Turkey Internet Branch login process and on the confirmation screen in money transfer transaction. To complete your transaction, you can complete the signing process by entering your Mobile Signature password from your mobile phone after making sure that the fingerprint information shown on both screens is the same.
What is fingerprint?
A fingerprint specific to that transaction is created at the end of the Internet Branch login or money transfer process. The created fingerprint is displayed on the screen and on your mobile phone. Complete the signing process by making sure that the fingerprint information shown on both screens is the same, by entering your Mobile Signature password from your mobile phone.
Mobile SMS Password
What is SMS Password?
SMS Password is a single-use, 6-digit password sent by our bank to your mobile phone registered in our system for login and money transfer transactions. SMS Password is used in Login and Money transfer transactions.
How will you define the SMS password?
For SMS Password, you need to define SMS Password from Internet Branch "Security Settings» SMS Password »Definition" menu. If you have not defined one of the SMS Password or One Time Password applications, you will be directed to the relevant identification steps in case you want to transfer money.
You can determine which of your mobile phone numbers in the system you will use for Mobile SMS Password from the SMS Password definition step.
If your mobile phone number in our system is incorrect, please contact your branch and update it.
How will you use the SMS password?
At the Internet Branch you may enter 6-digit SMS Password sent to your mobile phone;
• On the screen after typing your username and fixed password in the login process,
• In the money transfer transaction, on the confirmation screen,
If you do not enter your password on the relevant screens, your transactions will not be performed.
If You Enter Your SMS Password Incorrectly
If the SMS Password is entered incorrectly 3 times, your user code will be blocked. For unblocking, you need to call our Telephone Bank at 444 00 50.
Features of SMS Password
• The SMS Password sent to your mobile phone is for single use and cannot be used for another transaction.
• It is necessary to log in within a certain time after the SMS Password delivered on your mobile phone. After this specified period has expired, the password will be invalid.
• Since the SMS Password will be sent to your mobile phone, no transaction can be performed on your behalf by someone else on the Internet Branch.
• You do not need to carry any additional device with you to use the SMS Password. It is enough to have your mobile phone in order to use the application.
• There is no need to pay any fee for SMS Password. SMS sending fees are covered by our bank.
• SMS Password is used in Internet Branch login or money transfer transactions.
Usage of the SMS Password and Mobile Signature
As your choise, you can either use the SMS Password or your Mobile Signature on the Internet Branch. SMS Password and Mobile Signature cannot be used at the same time. If you have not made any identification, you will be directed to the SMS password definition step if you wish to transfer money over the limit set by our bank.
In order to use our Internet Branch without interruption, inform our Bank of any changes in your mobile phone number as soon as possible.
Service termination
If you do not want to use your Mobile Signature, you can define SMS Password from Security Settings menu. After defining SMS Password process, Mobile Signature will be terminated automatically.
Experiencing issues with Mobile Signature
If you face any problem, you can call our Telephone Branch at 444 00 50.
While using Internet Branch, there is a Virtual Keyboard located in each section that requires password entry. Consequently your password is protected from malwares like key-logger. Selecting the random option will increase your security.
One Time SMS Password is a unique and single use 6 digit numeric password that is sent by ICBC Turkey to your mobile phone registered to bank system while entering the Internet Branch or for money transactions.
By default, we terminate your Internet Branch session if there is no activity for 5 minutes. You can change your time out period as below as 1 minute from “Settings à Change Time Out” menu if you would like to.
All your transactions done in Internet Branch are being logged.
